What it took to make this Ultimate Guide to Visiting Bali

What it took to make this Ultimate Guide to Visiting Bali

To create this 91-page indepth guide, it took 4 trips to the island, months of exploring, countless weeks of research, my own experiences, mistakes I made, being scammed out of money (very easily avoidable!) and weeks to put it all into one package for you.

A little advice for travelling…

Things don’t go to plan and once you accept that you’ll have much more enjoyable trips. Being spontaneous is great, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be well prepared.

I LOVE to research a place before I go to make sure I don’t miss out on something, saving my ‘must sees’. Doing research also helps you to avoid unneccesary stress, hours of car time (from being unorganised), bad meals, scams etc.

What I do is have it in the back of my mind the things that I want to do, but then I only make a plan for the day ahead 1 or 2 days in advance. This allows me to leave things open for unexpected adventures or happenings, or maybe even rest days.

What if you meet a local who gives you an insider tip that you wish to investigate?Or you meet a cool group of people you want to adventure with for the day? Doing it this way means that you can ensure that you’ll visit all of the things you really want to, but you’re not stuck to plans, overwhelmed, or exhausted.

Having zero plan is a sure way to ruin your holiday. You know when you get home and see something epic, then realise you were a 10 minute drive away from it but you never knew it existed?

Yeah, that stings.
