Splash Artisan

Splash Artisan is a concept that derived from the lock down. Michael began to create these beautiful hand-made chocolates and received great feedback from his family and friends so decided to put them on Facebook to see if there was any interest. They were a huge hit and so Michael knew he needed a website that his customers could buy from. 

Within a few weeks of setting up Splash Artisan’s Google My Business page, it began receiving 1500+ weekly views!

The Project

Michael contacted me and together we created this elegant website to showcase his work, and sell his products. I choose colours that most people would associate with chocolate and used plenty of professional photographs to grab attention. 

I set up a WooCommerce store that is integrated into the website for a seamless buying process and connected this to an accounting software to help Michael keep track of his profits. To make sure his customers are kept informed throughout the entire process, we set up an automated email system to notify customers about their products. We connected a delivery service to the site, where customers can choose if they want the standard service, or wish to pay extra for premium.

We added the option to allow customers to build their own box of chocolates. This puts Michael ahead of the game in his area, as there are very few people offering this service. To make this happen, we integrated a sophisticated plugin that enables people to individually select the products that they want to include within their box. This was a challenge, but hopefully one that will pay off!

I set up a Google My Business account within the service area of NSW. This will help people find Michael’s business when looking to shop local.

It will also help his business stand out when people search for artisan chocolates in NSW, or even Australia.

We included his address, as Michael offers a free pick-up service upon request.

We contacted a few of his previous clients who left him a 5* review, and now we are focussing on getting more, to help improve his website ranking.
