Saying goodbye to everyone this weekend is going to be horrible! We’re going for a house meal to say farewell and we have a lot of cleaning to do for our move out inspection. Libby and I finally booked our flights yesterday after weeks of deciding what to do and where the hell to go! Luckily for me, my mum and dad are taking 25 kg of my stuff back for me or i’d never fit into in my backpack.
Packing this week has been disastrous and saying bye to all my dresses was definitely an emotional 5 minutes. Now here’s to living in shorts and vest tops for the next 7 months!
I have said goodbye to a lot of friends these last couple of days which has been quite difficult. Leaving the girls in the next few days however is going to be twice as hard! When you start traveling you become more and more immune to emotional goodbyes, but its crazy how much I have grown closer to everyone I have spent the last 7 months with. These guys have become my family. The people who I have spent my best, and worst days with. We have created so many amazing memories together and I can’t quite comprehend that this chapter of our lives together is already coming to an end.
Louise is heading back to Europe for the summer to meet up with friends and to work at home. She is flying back out around the end of September to meet up with us to travel so I’m already looking forward to seeing her again! Ally’s is hanging around in Sydney a little longer before she comes up to meet Libs and me wherever we end up going and Elle is also going back home but might be meeting us in the Philippines??
Mum and dad are continuing there journey around Australia before they go to new Zealand for a few weeks and T will be joining me as soon as I get sorted. We’re all going our separate ways for now but a reunion trip travelling numerous countries awaits, and quite frankly will be the only thing that gets me through the next couple of months as a ‘farmer’.
